The first ever Young Makers Market produced by The Woodlands Arts Council is coming to Market Street The Woodlands September 7, 2024!
The Woodlands Arts Council is proud to announce this one-of-a-kind opportunity for students aged 8-18 (Grades 3 - 12) to sell their unique artistic creations in a one day mini-arts festival in Market Street The Woodlands. Students will learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, and what it is like to be a working artist in workshops before the big event!
The following application requires three (3) images of art work that reflects what the young maker intends to sell. (.png and .jpeg files only)
IMPORTANT DATES:
March 1 - April 30: Application Open
May 15: Applicants notified of acceptance!
Summer Break - MAKE ART!
August 17: Workshop #1
August 24: Workshop #2
