The Young Makers Market produced by The Woodlands Arts Council returns to Market Street - The Woodlands, August 29, 2026!

The Woodlands Arts Council is proud to announce this one-of-a-kind opportunity for students aged 9-18 (Grades 3 - 12) to sell their unique artistic creations in a one-day mini-arts festival in Market Street - The Woodlands. Students will learn about entrepreneurship, marketing, and what it is like to be a working artist in workshops before the big event!

The following application requires three (3) images of artwork that reflect what the young maker intends to sell. (.png and .jpeg files only) **Do NOT include yourself in any of the submitted photos**

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Application opens March 9, 2026
• Application closes May 4, 2026
• Artists notified May 15, 2026
• Artist Workshop: August 2026 (Saturday)
• Young Makers Market August 29, 2026 (Rain date September 12, 2026)

Young Artists applications will be juried. The jurors will be checking that all guidelines were followed, and looking for creativity, originality, and strength of artistic voice.
